#FridayFuel: Immeasurably More

Would you believe me if I told you there are things in you that you are unaware of? Great and wonderful things? Desires you have not tapped into yet?

Lately Jesus has been showing me so much of that. I have been learning a lot about how there were desires in me hidden deep that He is bringing out of me. I am also starting to realize how many desires I have. How many talents I have that I didn’t know. We all have so much in us. So much to offer! It is so cool to me that God knows things about us that we do not know. He says “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart; I appointed you as a prophet to the nations.” Jeremiah 1:5

He knew me before anyone did, He created me with so many things I have yet to discover. He knows me more than I know myself. How cool is that?

He knows you. Regardless of your mistakes or “failures”, He made you and predestined you to do great and wonderful things! The more I have leaned on Him, the more He brings them out of me. It amazes me. I fail everyday. I make mistakes all the time, but yet this wonderful Savior says “come to me, lean on me” and continues to show me things about myself I didn’t know. And not just things, but cool, wonderful things!

He showed me the other day something cool. he showed me all of the things I am juggling and working on… Thinking about it made me overwhelmed! But He showed me how He gives me the grace to do it and He helps me make them all prosper- because His hand is in it. Before I leaned on Christ, I wasn’t doing half the things I am and was exhausted. With him? He helps me juggle it with time to spare watching Netflix and studying His word. No matter how much we are juggling or how much responsibility we have, He gives us the grace to get through it.

I stumble, get discouraged, take wrong turns, but all the while He tells me that He is doing immeasurable more than I could ever imagine. That He has great and wonderful things planned for us. What a wonderful savior that is. He views you as He views Jesus- white as snow. With love we cannot even fathom. He loves us so much.

He says “Delight yourselves in the Lord and He will give you the desires of your heart”… HIM and HIM ALONE!

Lean on Him… watch the immeasurably more come to life!

xoxo,

Aisha
